Hi — I'm Hussain Ali, though most people just call me Ali. I'm a Photographer, Cinematographer and Creative Director based in Vancouver, BC. Born in the Middle East, I've lived across several countries spending most of my adult years between London and Canada before Vancouver pulled me in for good in 2017. I visited for a week, fell in love with the mountains and the ocean, and never really left.
Vancouver is where my passion became a business, and where I met my wife. When I'm not in the studio, I'm usually somewhere in the mountains or on the water with our two Silken Windhounds, Chili and Winter.

I specialize in commercial and product photography - working with lifestyle, outdoor, and product-based brands to create imagery that's both technically precise and visually compelling. I believe a great photograph isn't just about what's in the frame, it's about understanding a brand well enough to know what belongs there in the first place.
Over the past 7+ years I've partnered with brands like Vessi, Arc'teryx, Osprey, and Blundstone to deliver studio and on-location campaigns across eCommerce, marketing, and brand storytelling.

WHO AM I
Hi! My name is Hussain Ali, but I've been mostly known by my last name (Ali) for most of my life. I am a 29-year old Creative based out of Vancouver, Canada. I was born in the Middle East and I've lived in several different countries throughout my lifetime. Most of my adulthood has been spent in London and Canada where I have traveled from east to west. I've experienced life in the desert, in big cities, and in snow-filled winters.
For me, Vancouver has always been a dream place to live. I had heard stories about it and seen the adventures others have had here which eventually lead me to visit for a week, and I fell in love. I moved out here in June of 2017 and since then it has become my new home. It is the city where my passion became business and also the place where I met my wife. I can usually be found exploring this fine provinces mountains, lakes and oceans. They are what I live and breath.
