Felix from Loxley Studio partnered with me to create a feature reel for his Custom Hardwood Desktops, showcasing how he meticulously selects each board and stores it in the workshop to acclimate to precise humidity before the build begins. The reel captures his careful eye for grain and colour, the slow, deliberate handling of raw hardwood, and the quiet rituals he uses to ensure stability and longevity, from measured stacking to controlled conditioning so every desktop leaves the shop true to its timber. The result is a testament to both craft and care: pieces that are as intricate in their joinery and finish as they are beautiful in their natural warmth, reflecting a level of workmanship that honours the wood and the hands that shape it.
